Better together on reroofs

We Work With Roofers You Can Trust

Roofing is its own trade, so we leave it to licensed contractors we know and stand behind. You get a direct introduction to a roofing crew, and we run the solar side ourselves: panels off, array labeled and stored, schedules lined up, reset with verified production. One introduction, two crews who talk to each other, nothing falling through the gap.

Why we work this way

The worst reroofs are the ones where nobody owns the handoff. We partner with the right roofer for all your roofing needs

Who does what on a reroof with solar

Your roofer

Tear-off, decking, and the new roof

Licensed, insured roofing contractors we have worked alongside on real jobs. They handle material selection, tear-off, deck repair, underlayment, and the roof warranty. You sign with them directly and their price is their price.

Us

Everything that touches the array

Detach, label, and store the modules. Proper system shutdown so equipment and warranties stay intact. Reset on the new roof with fresh flashings and correct penetrations, then commissioning and a production check against your old numbers.

Both of us

One shared schedule

We sequence our detach against their tear-off date so the deck is never open waiting on us, and we are back on site the day the roof is finished. Two crews, one timeline, no guessing at each other's dates.

How the introduction works

1
Tell us the roof needs work

Call or send the form and tell us what you are seeing: the age of the roof, a leak, storm damage, or a claim already in motion. You get an honest read on whether the roof needs replacing before the solar conversation goes any further.

2
We introduce you to a roofer we trust

A direct introduction to a licensed contractor from our partner list, matched to your roof type and your timeline. You contract with them, not with us. No markup, no middleman.

3
We take the array off and store it

Panels come down, every module and rail gets labeled, and the equipment is stored safely off the work surface. The system is shut down the right way so nothing is damaged and no warranty is put at risk.

4
Your roofer builds the new roof

We stay in the schedule while the roof goes on, so the deck is never left open waiting on us and the two crews are not tripping over each other. One shared timeline instead of two companies guessing at each other's dates.

5
We reset the array and verify production

Panels go back on the new roof with fresh flashings and proper penetrations, then we bring the system up and confirm it is producing what it did before. You get the numbers, not just a handshake.

Questions about the roofing partnership

Need a roof and have panels on it?

Tell us what is going on with the roof. We will give you a straight answer, connect you with a roofer we trust, and handle the solar side so the two halves of the job actually line up.
