Overview

Your insurance covers it — but only if you do it right.

A hailstorm blows through. You notice shingles in the yard. You call insurance. And that’s where most homeowners get lost. The adjuster writes a plan. The roofer says it’s not enough. You’re stuck in the middle. We’ve been through this thousands of times. We document damage the way adjusters expect, meet them on your roof, and make sure the plan covers what actually needs repair. You choose your own contractor — insurance can’t tell you who to hire. And we don’t ask you to pay out of pocket for work your policy should cover.

What a good storm damage restoration plan should cover

Free inspection within 48 hours
After a storm, timing matters. We get on your roof fast to assess and document before damage worsens. The inspection is free and comes with a report you can use whether you hire us or not.
Insurance documentation that holds up
We photograph and document every point of damage using the same methods and terminology adjusters use. Fewer disputes, faster approvals, and a claim that reflects the full plan.
We meet your adjuster on the roof
Most homeowners don’t know what to look for — and some adjusters miss things. We walk the roof with your adjuster to make sure nothing gets overlooked.

How storm damage restoration should be approached

1
We inspect within 48 hours and build documentation that matches what adjusters need
We photograph every impact point, damaged component, and collateral indicator — soft metals, AC fins, gutters, siding — with close-ups, reference shots, timestamps, and measurements. This gets compiled into a report formatted the way insurance adjusters expect to see it, using the same terminology they use in Xactimate. Strong documentation means fewer disputes and faster approvals.
2
File your claim, and we walk the roof with your adjuster to align plan
You file the claim using our documentation. When the adjuster comes out, we’re on the roof with them pointing out every item — because some adjusters miss things, and their initial plan isn’t final. If the adjuster’s estimate doesn’t cover what’s actually damaged, we help identify what was missed so you can request a re-inspection or supplement.
3
Restore to the approved plan, file supplements for hidden damage, and close out the claim
Work proceeds per the approved line items. If tear-off reveals damage the adjuster couldn’t see — rotted decking, saturated underlayment, damaged flashing — we document it and file a supplement before proceeding. Completion photos, material receipts, and warranty documentation go to your carrier so they release the recoverable depreciation check. You get a clean close-out, not a lingering claim.
